Template for Communion Registration Cards

Basic Communion Bulletin Template

Following the traditional order of weekly worship, this Service of Holy Communion can be used with any book of hymns and songs. The spoken elements of the liturgy are printed in the bulletin.
Basic Non-Communion Bulletin Template

Following the traditional order of weekly worship, this can be used with any book of hymns and songs on occasions when Holy Communion is not included in the service. The spoken elements of the liturgy are printed in the bulletin.
Traditional Full Liturgy - Pages Template
- complete service, words only, formatted full page 8.5"x11" sheets (individual pages)
Traditional Full Liturgy - Bulletin Template
- complete service, words only, formatted to half-page size 5.5"x8.5" (two-sided bulletin)
These templates (above) include the complete service in text only, including the words to spoken prayers and as well as the parts of the liturgy that are usually sung. This service may be used in cases where liturgical accompaniment is not available, or when printing copyrighted liturgical music is not an option. (For example, it may be used with LBW settings 1-2-3, when congregations do not need to print out the full music score.)

Ash Wednesday Bulletin Template
This editable service template uses LBW Setting 1 and hymns, and incorporates Sola's rite for Confession and the Imposition of Ashes, found on the Liturgy & Service page (download here).
Midweek Lent Bulletin Template
This editable service template uses components from Vespers (Evening Prayer) adapted from the 1930 American Lutheran Hymnal.
Maundy Thursday Bulletin Template
This service focuses on the theme of Holy Communion, with liturgical langusge drawn from Luther's catechisms. It includes the recognition of First Communion candidates (optional), and closes with the Stripping of the Altar.
Good Friday Bulletin Template
This Good Friday Tenebrae "service of darkness" incorporates the passion narrative from the Gospel of John, with traditional hymns from the Lutheran Book of Worship (LBW). As each section of the passion story is read a candle is extinguished, until all that remains is the Paschal Candle.
