This special intergenerational series "Family of Faith" was written for the Summer of 2022. It contains nine abbreviated lessons, meants for adults and children to do together. Lesson Prayer:

Father in heaven, you have called us into your family of faith, and made us sisters and brothers in Christ. We thank you for ordering our lives and providing for our needs. Guide us by your Word, so our homes and places of work may reflect the love, respect, and faithfulness to which you have called us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Memory Verse:

Creative Idea for the Week:

Many congregations conduct Sunday School during the months of the public school year. To meet this need, the regular SEED curriculum has four units intended to cover the school year, from September to May. Other congregations continue with Sunday School throughout the summer, or have special weekday classes during this time. For these churches, we have provided this special Summer Series called "Family of Faith" as a bonus, as part of the SEED subscription.

These nine sequential lessons from the Book of Genesis are provided in a simplified form, meant to be used with children or with a intergenerational group of kids and adults. Not all the elements that are normally a part of the SEED curriculum have been included in this abbreviated series. We have simplified these lessons to provide here only Teacher Pages, Coloring Pages, and some bonus Children’s Pages. Memory cards are also provided, along with art work for the series as a whole.

We hope that this series will allow congregations to take a more relaxed approach to Sunday School during the summer, and to focus on Scripture that might not otherwise appear in the yearly Bible Overview format.
