Video Resources
Those looking for short videos to show in a classroom setting, or for teachers wanted to get a little more background on a section of Scripture, Sola recommends a website called "The Bible Project."
The Bible Project
Website: www.bibleproject.com
The Bible Project website hosts a number of short animated videos on books, stories, and themes from Scripture. The videos are free to use, and run about 5-6 minutes long. They are not "cartoons" in the tradional sense, but are explanatory videos meant to provide some initial background on a particular section of Scripture or theological topic.
The content is directed toward and audience of youth to adults, but can be used with upper elementary and middle-schoolers as well. Teacher's of older grades could show these videos as in-class introductions, or view them for their own advance study and preparation.
Note: This is an independant website not under the control of Sola Publishing. From the Bible Project website: "We believe that the story of Jesus has the power to transform people and entire communities. Our mission is to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus."
