The Holy Cross Setting

(an informal liturgy for Holy Communion in a contemporary-folk style)

This informal worship setting follows the traditional Lutheran order of service, adapted to a more contemporary-folk setting. It can be led with piano alone, or with piano, guitar, and drums.

This setting was created by Pastor Steven King and Composer Rebecca King during their time at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (LCMC) in Maple Lake, MN, with texts adapted from the traditional order of worship.
