I Am Who I Am:
A Bible Study on the Trintarian Name of God
Sola's "Thinking Like Scripture" Series - Studies in Biblical Theology
by Michael Tavella and Steven King
God said to Moses, “I Am who I Am … this is my name forever and this my title for all generations” (Exodus 3:14-15). To us as Christians, the Name of God reveals His identity and nature. For we know that the same LORD who created the heavens and the earth has now come to both Jews and Gentiles in the person of Jesus Christ. In Him, God has revealed the Trinitarian nature of “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit” by giving this divine Name to us as His children. This six-week study explores what it means to not “take the name of the LORD your God in vain” (Exodus 20:7), while trusting the promise in Christ that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).
