Nehemiah Rebuilds Jerusalem

Biblical Basis • Nehemiah 4:1-23
God’s people had been conquered and taken away in exile to distant lands. But God promised that someday he would bring them back home and restore their land, rebuilding the holy city of Jerusalem. Nehemiah was one of people that God used to make this happen.

Lesson Prayer
Faithful Lord, you have promised to never forsake your people, and throughout history you have always provided what is needed to keep your children in the faith. Grant us your strength that we would do what is necessary to honor you and proclaim your love to all the world. We are grateful for your ever-present love in our lives. We pray this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
